I. General provisions

  1. The controller of personal data pursuant to Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) - GDPR (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR") of 27.04.2016 is the company RIVit s.r.o., Company ID 52 516 911, with its registered office at Czambelova 79/5, 040 01 Košice – mestská časť Sever, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court of Košice, Section Sro, File No. 46817/V (hereinafter referred to as the "controller"). The controller processes your personal data for the purpose of providing our services when selling these services through the online store on this website www.docuassist.sk.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

II. Sources, categories, purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

  1. The controller processes personal data that you have provided or personal data that the controller has obtained through the website www.docuassist.sk. This includes: name, surname, address, email, telephone number.
  2. In order to provide our services, we process the following personal data: name, surname, address, email and telephone number.
  3. The processing of the data referred to in points 1 and 2 of this article is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you and we as the controller are parties. The legal basis for the processing of this information is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
  4. In order to receive our newsletters, information about discounts, updates, offers and other marketing materials via email, we process your: name, surname, email, telephone number and address.
    1. We process this data based on your explicit consent. The legal basis for processing this information is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
    2. If you decide that you are no longer interested in receiving such messages, you have the right to withdraw your consent by sending us a message. Withdrawing consent may result in you not receiving notifications about discounts, updates or offers. It is not possible to withdraw consent to receive system emails related to the provision of the Services (e.g. password resets, billing).
  5. In order to continually improve our services and user experience, we process information related to your device, visits, and usage of our website/services (including IP address, location, browser/OS type, referral sources, visit length, page views, and navigation paths).
  6. We process the data referred to in point 5 based on your explicit consent (cookies) or legitimate interest (security/analytics). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) or (f) of the GDPR.
  7. For communication purposes (support, complaints, inquiries), we process: name, surname, address, email, phone number, communication content, and metadata.
    1. Processing is necessary for contract performance or legitimate interest. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) or (f) of the GDPR.

III. Retention period of personal data

  1. The controller stores personal data:
    • For the period necessary to exercise rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship.
    • Until consent for marketing purposes is withdrawn, if applicable.
  2. After the retention period expires, the controller will delete the personal data.
  3. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing: info@docuassist.sk.

IV. Recipients of personal data

  1. Recipients of personal data include persons/entities participating in the delivery of goods/services/payments (e.g. Stripe), providing website operation services (hosting), and marketing services.
  2. The controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (outside the EU) or an international organization, unless required by law or for cloud services adhering to GDPR standards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

V. Your rights

  1. Under the conditions set out in the Act and GDPR, you have:
    • Right to access your personal data.
    • Right to rectification of personal data.
    • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten).
    • Right to restrict processing.
    • Right to data portability.
    • Right to object to processing.
    • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  2. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic) if you believe your rights have been violated.

VI. Security

  1. The controller declares that it has taken all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.
  2. Only authorized persons have access to personal data.

VII. Final provisions

  1. By submitting an order or registering, you confirm that you are familiar with these privacy policy terms and accept them in full.
  2. The controller is entitled to change these terms. The new version will be published on the website.
