What is the DocuAssist.sk MCP connector?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI applications securely reach external data and tools. DocuAssist.sk exposes your knowledge bases as an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other compatible clients can answer straight from your own documents.
Which tools does the AI get once connected?
Ten tools: list knowledge bases, search the knowledge base, answers with citations, ask for a synthesized answer, list documents, read a full document, compare two documents, knowledge base summary, anonymize text and list reference examples. On top of that there is a prompt for generating documents in the style of your own examples.
Which plan do I need to connect Claude or ChatGPT?
The MCP connector is part of the Premium and Team plans. The Free and Basic plans do not include it.
Can the AI delete or change my documents through the connector?
No. The connector only ever reads from your knowledge bases — it cannot edit or delete documents. You can revoke access at any time by deleting the MCP key or revoking the OAuth grant.
How does the connection work — do I have to copy keys around?
You do not have to. For Claude on the web and mobile you just enter the connector URL and sign in with your DocuAssist.sk account (OAuth). A static MCP key is handy for config-file setups such as Claude Desktop.
